You are so worthy of happiness and peace.
Hi, I’m Emma Bowen — a trauma-informed therapist in Denver who helps people heal from trauma, anxiety, and relationship wounds so they can reconnect with themselves and others.
My Approach
Healing from trauma can feel overwhelming. Sometimes we cling to what’s familiar, even when it no longer serves us. My goal is to help you release what’s weighing you down and move toward what brings you peace, clarity, and connection.
My style is warm and compassionate, but also direct—I hold space for you with care while gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I believe therapy works best when it’s both supportive and growth-oriented.
You deserve to trust yourself, feel safe in your body, and experience joy again.
My Background
I’m an EMDR-trained, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who works with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship wounds, disordered eating, identity exploration, and life transitions. I draw from EMDR, mindfulness, parts work, and experiential methods to help clients heal from within.
I bring both professional expertise and lived experience into my work—I’ve been where you might be now: reading therapists’ bios, wondering if change is really possible. It is.
Outside of the Therapy Office
When I’m not with clients, I enjoy spending time outside, snowboarding, curling up with my pets, and connecting with my people. I try to live the same balance I help my clients find—rest, connection, and joy in the little things. I strive to show up authentically in hopes that you will feel comfortable doing the same.
You don’t have to do this alone.
